| Description of the problem | When filling up my gas tank i noticed a very strong odor of gasoline. Was very concerned that if someone nearby had been smoking fumes would have ignited. Also if traveling on the highway if someone had thrown out a lit cigarette who knows what would happen. I called the mercedes stealership and they said it's my problem to fix it. I recently read about a recall for the same issue on 2010 and 2011 mercedes... This is the same problem!! Look at the complaints filed here for the same issue...... Wake up nhtsa and include these models. Does a car need to blow up first??? |
